How to get around

Last update Monday 04 December 2023

The Bordeaux metropolitan area has a dense public transport network that includes: 4 tram lines, 3 river shuttle lines, dozens of bus lines and self-service bicycles. This network is managed by TBM public transport. Details of services and pricing can be found on their website.

To travel outside of Bordeaux, you can use either Regional Express Trains or TransGironde buses that connect main cities in the department for very attractive prices.

You also have at your disposal travel means like taxis or car rentals that you can find through usual ways. BlueCub is another option, offering electric self-service car-sharing in Bordeaux.
