G. Asher Newsome

G. Asher NEWSOME is a physical scientist at the Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute and has studied a wide variety of analytes using novel mass spectrometry methodologies. He earned a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Since joining the Smithsonian in 2017 he has been developing ambient analysis techniques for cultural heritage and conservation science.
