Nathalie Fourment

Nathalie FOURMENT received her PhD at the University of Toulouse in Prehistory, with specialization in the Upper Paleolithic. Chief Heritage Curator she was the regional archaeology curator and the head of the regional archaeology service within the regional directorate of cultural affairs in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (France) from 2013 to 2020. At the same time, she continues her research activity on decorated caves, more particularly on the Cussac cave and the anthropization of the underground environment. She wishes to develop a cross-cutting approach to research and conservation issues.

Since December 17th 2020 Nathalie Fourment is Director of the National Museum of Prehistory in Les Eyzies (Dordogne).
